Welcome to Rabbit Class
We have finished our topic 'Holidays Then and Now' and created some very interesting non-fiction books to share and compare the facts we had learned. We are now working on Computing, looking at algorithms and creating some of our own.
In English we have read and recited traditional rhymes, creating actions to perform them and even writing some of our own! Now that we have met our new teachers, we are going to spend the week looking at features of letter writing in order to write about ourselves to our new class teacher. IT also gives us an opportunity to ask any questions we have about our new class and year group!
In Maths we are learning about measure and through working practically will be using standard units and equipment in order to record height, weight and length. We have been working on our quick recall of doubles and halves of numbers to 10 and 20 - maybe you could practise some of these at home?
