Owl Class

Welcome to Owl class!

As the final couple of weeks approach Owl class are still working extremely hard - despite the heat! In English they have researched and written a report about the life of Christopher Columbus! The children learnt a lot about him and produced some fantastic writing yet again. In Maths we have been learning about capacity and using our knowledge of addition and subtraction to solve some problems! In the afternoons as well as researching Christopher Columbus we have also been getting ready for the end of year play! The children have been practicing hard and we can't wait to show it to you!

Next week, we will be researching and writing about another explorer, Tim Peake! We will look at all of his training he had to complete and his time in space. In the final week, we are going to look back at all the explorers we have researched and decide who was the best! In Maths we will be sorting numbers and shapes according to their properties, then finish the year with some tricky problem solving!

Owl class have had a fantastic year and I am extremely proud of the progress they have made!
