Mole Class

Welcome to Mole Class!

We have now finished  our topic called 'Holidays Then and Now' and created some fantastic non fiction books which contained lots of interesting facts!

In the last few weeks we will be developing our computing skills by programming bee bots and creating algorithms on the computer.

In Maths we are learning about patterns which include shapes and numbers. We will be completing some that have been started for us and also creating our own. We will also be using all that we have learnt over the year to

problem solve to find answers to questions.

In English we have been learning to recite traditional rhymes and adapting one as a class.. We really enjoyed changing ‘The animals went in two by two’. I wonder if you could recite our new version to a family member at home? Now that we have met our new teachers we have started to write our own letters to them. We are  thinking carefully about the features and looking forward to asking some questions about Year Two.

Reminder:

Reading books and library books are changed on a Monday every week.

Please ensure your child has a named hat and water bottle as the weather is predicted to stay warm.

Thank you,

Mrs Drury
