Summer 2
It has been a very busy few weeks with lots of exciting events taking place which the children have enjoyed greatly. The beautiful weather has been a bonus if a bit too hot some days. Ladybird class were very proud to win the Lunchtime Cup and SAM dog in one week meaning that their behaviour at lunchtime is excellent and that they were all at school on time every day - well done Ladybird class. I'm sure you will agree that sports day was great fun and that the children competed very well especially when passing the baton and doing the hurdles. They all thoroughly enjoyed moving on afternoon and it is great to hear them talking about their new classes and teachers and saying hello to them in and around school. It's hard to believe they have almost completed their first year at school and I am sure you are as proud of them as we are - they have all worked so hard and had great fun and it has been a real pleasure teaching them.
Reminder
PE kits are now only required on Thursday mornings. As you will have seen there will be no new Teddy words or maths challenge cards sent home and reading books will be collected in on Monday 16th July. Please remember to send your child to school with a named water bottle every day. With the very hot weather could you please ensure that your child has a sun hat and has had sun cream applied before coming to school.
Thank you.
